Yes, i mean the cast. I like both Nana and Vengo and their character as ML and SZH. It just my opinion feel guilty to watch their intense romantic. I know the novel descript SZH consider ML as niece. Don't mind, i also interest for the next episode👍
Well until 6 episode, the drama is watchable. The costume, the design, the actor is so goodlooking. Ouyang Nana is so beautiful with her blind eyes, Vengo so handsome (he doesn't age like Donghua Dijun lol).
So far i see, it do it better than the novel. And i hope they can maintain it, till the end episode (cause the mid novel liitle bit boring).
From the chemistry, part of myself want to see their slow love-line, but i also uncomfort with their agegap 🥲 (cause the FL look so much like a teenager and ML vey mature )

Yes, he will be the king of 6 cities(teritories?) after they unite them. And also with Ming Yi in his side, the law about woman in that time has revolved.
I think it will be interesting to adapted in drama because its not about romance (yeah maybe the first half), its also contain alot of action, self/character growth and journey in qingyun.

Sorry guys, i didnt meant to disrupt your curious. I just share my interpretation after read the a whole novel. If you don't want get a big spoiler please skip it. It based from my understanding (Those who have read the novel. Please correct if there's wrong!)
Ji Bozai and Ming Yi have untrusting characters, cold, and selfish, due to their sad backgrounds. Ji Bozai grew up in the slave market and was helped by a concubine from Muxing City, while Ming Yi, he was raised to be a man since her birth (as Ming Xian), poisoned, mistreated and always used (as tool) to become the champion of Chaoyang City. They were both so pathetic and pity.😢
I thought at first, they were sibling. But apparently no, Ji Bozai is the real succesor/son of Chaoyang City, he was exchanged to Ming Yi (because Ming Yi has red veins, which is very valuable and powerful). The actually is, Ming Yi is the daughter of Queen Chao Yang's subordinate, Ming An + his wife (they were same from the branch far family, Ming). For some reason, Ming An throws Ji Bozai into the slave market.
From some accident, Ming Yi is unuseful to Queen Chaoyang, so she was murdered by poisoned and burned her mansion. Luckily, she got alive, she come to Muxing city to get the antidote (from Ji Bozai, because he is expert to make poison and antidote) and also to hide herself. And yeah, the story begin from that.

I also think this arc make Xiangliu is not lovable. I almost forget his sacrifice for Xiao Yao, the way he kidnap Xiao Yao from wedding, even the way he play guqin is so weird, and make him has love brain. All thee character so melow along 9 episode and make me depression. I think, I the war scene will be interesting.
I just realized after rewatch the ost mv , the guest role Peng Xiaoran, Zuo Ye, Ai Mi dancing too. Even Cheng Lei with Yuanzhi didi dance together eventought for few second. So cutee🤣

I'm into you, at the beginning i actually want to see the cases and follow the plot, enjoy the comedy, but omg the way they executed is losing my interest. I just didn't thought why the actor of the class Luo Yunxi and Song Yi take this level of script.
Maybe i will continue for the rest 24 episode with skipped 2x speed to see the CP scene.
As from episode 1-6, its another drama that worth it to watch👍. The story is unique (than other rebirth drama), the characters has brain, the plot well develope, the comedy, romance and politic are balances.
I love Cheng Lei, but his acting reminds me of Shangjue (the way he talks, gaze, act). When i see SBL, i see Shangjue (yes i know both same cold). But my heart, can't see the pity and nerf of character SBL. They make him so unlogic and bratty (T^T).
I want to watch him, but i can't see my Shangjue going like this.

I think its another chinese drama 2024 (besides joy of life 2) that i really i excited for next episode.
The plot well executed (better than the novel). Every character has pity conditions and has logic brain. The design, the set, the costume is beatiful. Even the music is very support the feeling of drama.
An awesome drama, but they ruin it, in the end 40, last 30 minutes. I think it will better if they make the final battle with fighting Prince Cheng, and make it more hearthbreak, epic, heroic etch. Then happily with Jiang Li.
Why they give us, a win, a little happines (marriage), but at the end Xiao Heng go to fight Dai Kingdom make Lu Ji, Wen Ji died, and Jiang Li wait him. Its very drop my emotions at the last 30 minutes.
