What if we all, and Hong Jo too, are making the same mistake thinking that he is just a cat? What if he's a human too coming from another World, a parallel one..who somehow started to live in Sol Ah's world, under his both identities? As we know, Hong Jo the human has no memories about him being a kitty. In fact he has no memories before he met Sol Ah, a year ago. NOTHING. It's like he accidentaly entered in this world as a kid but for a very short time. Next entrance was a year later, this time as an adult and since then he was living under his 2 identities, consciously or unconsciously changing them. It's like a battle between the native cat Sergei/Hong Jo and the newcommer young man Hong Jo. At first, his identity as a cat was stronger. That's why he can't live as a human for a long time but love made him-the human, stronger and stronger and, in the end, he became strong enough to live only under an identity...as a human.
Hahaha, I know that there is that old cat's love story but I prefer to think that was the screenwriter's mistake, bringing her in the story to make it more exciting
It's been a long time since Korean ratings stopped surprising me. More than that...I use to search and watch low rated Kdramas because many of them are much better than a lot of other kdramas...overrated dramas...some of them ridiculous overrated just because the male lead actor is handsome/cute, although the acting skills are mediocre. As for this drama: I really like it. A very enjoyable fantasy+romance+comedy. I even re-watched it and I liked even more. Not a drama to win a Grand Prize but a good drama. Story is good, acting good, music fits perfect. What I didn't like was Chae Dong Hyun as Cat caregiver because his voice sounds very false. And this drama has even a very cute lead actor...but that's perfectly justified because that's how he has to be as a cat-person
Everytime I re-watch it I can't stop thinking this way.
