I believe it shows that a lot of couples' go through this. After years of being together it is not as when you first started. Even tho Fluke doesn't tell him everything about his life doesn't mean he doesn't love him anymore. And i believe the kiss represented that he still loves him and will fight to stay with him and after that it is up to us to interpret it as we believe...since this is the first and last episode of their story.

I would say that is more like he always saw Nubsib as a brother when they were younger and probably Gene only saw Nubsib when he was a kid so he would not know how he would look like from his teen years foreword. Also Nubsib changed his surname so that also makes the situation more complicated. I believe that Nubsib did not wanna tell Gene who he was because he was not sure if he was gay/bi.

Finally someone that shares the same opinion as me XD I only see negative posts all over the internet...yes season 1 was better then s2 but I'm enjoying it!
