It's doesn't need expert casting since you know as a viewer almost all the dramas with debuted rookie being main suddenly ended up pretty bad so everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think we are having a respectful and valid discussion here

Iu is good but still have long way to go some of her acting is stiff but all her dramas are good she is in the right path don't know about rowon never watched anything with him. I agree also another point is I really hope they should cast actresses not only because of their face cauz I rather have a phenomenal actress like seulgi than a pretty face like many out there, I just can't fully immerse myself in the drama with a mediocre acting at best

It might work for a webtoon but not for a drama , it's Hella awkward i just don't like childish acting from grown ups be it male or female. While ofc discovering rookie actresses is great putting them in a main lead is not, I wholeheartedly agree with the models /idols thing, she is not older tho she is the same age as most rookie actresses these days. I would diffenitly preferred a veteran actress since we have a veteran actor here. They just lack experience to pull it off, as almost all the dramas with rookies. But again since the role is a highs schooler it can get a pass would have preferred Kim seulgi for example the one in oh my ghost but not with the childish 30+ yr old magician playing a childish character
