They will have some screen time together but I forget which episodes. Honestly, I was rooting for Song Ming Lei and Yuan Fei Qing and not Yuan Fei Yan.😂🤣 The chemistry between the two guys were so strong. You can tell right away that Fei Qing Yua loves Song Ming Lei but gave him up for his sister's sake. I skipped a lot and missed lots of parts so I can't really give you more details than this.

There is love eventually but I personally just felt that he was gulit trapped into it.

It's okay. I'm not offended. Yes, I love Jiu Lu Fei Xiang too and read almost all her novels. My favorite is Accompanying the Phoenix and right after is Zhao Yao. Yes, I agreed that casting for Zhao Yao was so great but the storyline was so bad. If they followed the novel, it would have been a big hit!

I actually like Gong Jun and think he will do well but Yang Mi is a miscast for me. But you are right, it could be worse. I was actually hoping Li Yitong will be cast because she is playing SiMing in "The Parting of the Orchid and Cang" and she looked so beautiful and just how I pictured SiMing to be like.

Right now FL is rumored to be Yang Mi. Honestly, I think Yang Mi is not the right choice here. Nothing against her, but this type of role is something she's done before....also, they'll most likely choose a younger ML which may affects the chemistry.

I enjoyed her in "The Wolf Princess." I thought she wasn't too bad as an actress. About her looks, to me, acting is more important. There are some very popular actresses and actors out there who are good looking but can't act at all. They're only popular because of their looks and not talent. Those are the ones that I ignored. I also really like it when these actors and actresses try their best to improve. Those that try, I'll give them chances but those that just continue to use their looks instead of trying to improve, I really can't like.

If they followed the novel, she is not a princess, but yet they just had to change that. 🙄

Yes. Title is Bailingtan too. By Wu Yu Zhu. No English translation though. It's a collections of stories within one story. Lots of them are pretty sad. Even ML and FL's story is sad too...but looks like they changed it for the drama.

Word of Honor is still (for me) the best and true (less censored) BL drama from China so far. No matter what happens, that will never change.

I second that. Husky and His White Cat Shizun is a MUST read. One of the best novels out there. I love Heaven Official's Blessing but the writing style for Husky and His White Cat Shizun is way better. One of the few novels that made me cry over and over again.

Waston has a very cute personality like Wind Master. If he could act the part too, then they definitely did the right thing casting him. Will have to wait and see. I've only seen him in the idol show "Youth With You" so have no idea about his acting.

The comic is beautifully drawn. Lots of beautiful details and there is more of a fantasy side to it than the drama.
