Completely agree with you. Was hoping for this to be a light-hearted romance like the original, but the MC is so unbearably written that it's hard to like. I'm on ep 3 and the rest of the plot seems to be okay so far. Except the police officer falling straight away. It seems so forced and badly written. I'm trying to take it for what it is but I'm considering dropping
How is he 'mistreating' them ? He was honest from the begining, he told her he doesn't want dating, she agreed…
Ahh thank you for correcting me. I've changed it now as I understand what you mean. I meant the fact that he isn't going to give her what she wants long-term. I definitely pinned the blame on Jae-eon so thank you for pointing it out. His communication of his needs is good but it's Nabi who is ignoring it in the aims of 'fixing' him, I guess.
This drama is promising. My main hope is that the leads don't end up together. As you say, this drama is reflecting reality in all its goods and bads. It would feel unsatisfying if they forgot this theme right at the end, just so the main couple have their 'happily ever after'. We all know that Nabi won't be happy staying with Jae-eon long-term as he simply will not give her the care she wants and needs.
This is exactly it. You put my thoughts into words. This show feels like a different writer wrote each episode as nothing links into another and there's basically no plot. The plot points which are present are either underdeveloped and unexplored or milked for all it's worth. Plus the characters were badly written. It started off as a great show but went downhill within the blink of an eye.
I might be confusing this with another series, but does one of the characters have a voiceover? Maybe Arthit? Idk cause the audio sometimes sounds off but that might be a product of its time. Again, I might have confused this with another series but please let me know :)
