well, its quite unfair to give opinion on her acting based on a drama that she made in 2019 and think that shes an awful actress till now, if you watch her new dramas my heart and lie to love in which she made in 2020-2021, you can clearly see the improvements

This drama is so different from all office dramas I watched, this has a really big thriller and suspense aspect, the drama team is quite brave, it is not a popular genre to pair on an office romance. Yunxi and Cheng Xiao are quite a random pair but it works, he's always been good and she is improving.

Cheng Xiao's acting on this one is much more natural than Falling Into Your Smile, she's super cute and funny here! She's also getting prettier, long hair suits her more than short hair but still all pretty in any. Jason Gu is also doing a good job, he has always been a really good actor and I remember him acting on the same type of drama with Lusi, he became more buffed!
