Yeah it is not the sequel, some scene in the wattpad have some parallels in what is shown in the TV Series, but the wattpad script would give you some ideas what to expect in the 2nd second season.

To add, the Wattpad story is the script written by Karl for his class, this was reveal in the later part through the Vlad's letter. So what was written in the wattpad is the fictionized version, an AU, of Karl and Vlad's story. :)
