I will however never watch on Netflix not willing to support the company and everything they stand for.

Usually not into sports movies, but this was very good, watched twice. Bae Doo Na is great as always, the rest of the cast is good too. Made after real events, great and inspiring story

I hate Netflix crap, but decided to give it a go. Very addictive I have to say. Trying hard to mo watch more than 1 episode daily :-)

I could understand english name, but not "koreanized" English name if you get what I mean. They actually write it with korean characters (Myname) and make it sound korean which is really stupid. If you can read Hangul you'll understand. Bastardizing any language is very sad, of course korean language is not the only one that gets this treatment .

Why so many k-dramas have english titles, did they forget the korean equivalent? Very annoying, and sad

Except for Bae Doo Na none is what you would consider "A-list" when it comes to success&popularity, sorry you don't convince me. Then again, you don't have to.

She's not a western actress, it's not the same thing in Korean culture, so yes, a huge gamble if you want to be a successful mainstream actress in Korea. Look at their most en-vogue actresses currently and see how many did nude scenes. You won't find many, Kim Go Eun is an absolute exception.

Korean historical dramas are my favorite genre, however I am aware that everything is loosely based on historical facts/characters/customs. If everything was 100% accurate historically speaking, people wouldn't watch it, as simple as that.
Even so, they are a good way for people to learn at least something about certain characters and events in ancient or more recent history.
I watch for the beautiful language (no stupid konglish), the gorgeous costumes, the interesting customs, lack of vulgarity and so on. A breath of fresh air in today's dystopia.

Can hardly wait

For some reason I do not like her, and I've watched a few of her dramas. I do admit that she looks so much younger than her age though, quite incredible. Great genes :)

Very good actress, too bad her face is an absolute experiment in plastic surgery. I fully expect her face to "fall-off" eventually :(

So predictable

The world is dystopian enough nowadays, last thing I need is a dystopian drama to go along with it :)
I guess people identify with this already, otherwise I fail to see why the wild success, on a theme that was done and overdone. But hey, to each their own.
I heard young kids are re-creating scenes from the movie at school, good job everyone.

Much better than expected, good story (although quite dramatic), good looking actresses, nice costumes and settings, plus the cherry on top- the gorgeous Yoo Mi

I watch everything with her, she is decent as an actress and her dramas are quite well-picked, so far I haven't stopped any :)

I'm usually not into horror, I gave it a shot because of one of my fav beauties JYM :) . The exorcism parts are creepy as hell, 2 episodes in only, but I love it. I don't care if there's going to be romance or not, so far so good

The most entertaining of all K-shows, great cast, great food, great cultural experience .
