I don’t know why everyone’s bashing this show. Honestly, I thought their chemistry was really great. They feel like they’re able to play with each other well. It’s definitely a step up from their old show and sure it’s kind of basic, but I like that the boss isn’t horribly mean and Cher isn’t horribly dumb. They are diverting the stereotypes of these tropes really well which is what makes a good genre show like this

Thai television is usually not that understated, ever watched a lakorn, literally the most dramatic thing on earth. The understated thing you’re talking about is unique to BL. In fact, this was probably one of the most authentically thai BLs I’ve watched in a long time. It hits all the markers of a true lakorn

On that channel, all shows are that long. That’s the typical non bl length show for Thai dramas and because this channel this is their first bl and they tend to special and air solely lakorns, it’s going to be the same length as a result

No, he didn’t. That’s not what I’m saying. Instead I’m saying there’s still functional similarities within the plot of how much of this one person am I in love with or is it someone else and yes it’s them and only them, not this other person.

Honestly, watching public opinion change concerning this show has been so interesting to watch. I remember when this was like rated at the 6’s and watching it climb up has been so lovely for me as an Earth stan. I feel like although a lot of people have criticized this plot, it’s in line with their previous work of a thousand stars and the idea of loving someone’s soul. (The heart in 1000 stars) I love that concept, that no matter what body, you’re in I will always love you. They make it very clear that Korn is in love with Win and always has been. People commenting about inconsistent tone, I do not understand. It was lovely every step of the way. Everything seemed to flow into the next and I thought the journey of highlighting different places in Thailand was also great. Win is a jerk in the beginning yes, but that fades quickly and we and him are forced to come to an understanding about his actions. Now, if you only watch BLs for the sexualization of queer men, then you might be annoyed, but if you’re looking for a wonderful and touching gay love story (which is what earthmix does best) then watch this show. I promise you will not regret it.

I think this show is getting mixed comments because it’s a little more mature than most Chinese shows. I actually think the chemistry is good, but it’s not a super sweet love story at least not yet like you might find in her past works. It’s a welcome change in my opinion though. This is the first time I truly believe she’s a good actress

I agree with that. I did like love scenery though because the game was set in a different setting and wasn’t as funny and comic looking. It wasn’t as weird to me.

I would come up with a different reply to this in that The Untamed and this show are both censored adaptations of bl novels. There are a couple moments of queerness in this show, but it never follows through with the intimacy. It’s as gay as you can get in China.
