This has been my question since season 1, I think I missed something. Do Fan Ruoruo and Fan Shi Zi have the same mom? The mom seems to favour FSZ but Fan Zhian doesn't seem to have another wife.

I have watched up to episode 6 of Season 2 after binge watching season 1 as I have forgotten most of the plots 🤣 so far so good, despite the humour, it has a lot of dark moments as well.

I tried Shen Li but I got bored at episode 8 and dropped it. I think it's good for people who love both main actors and xian xia.

I haven't tried The Double and Blossom in Adversity.

I have watched up to 32 but I don't mind spoilers as I have read the spoilers about the deaths earlier.

I also root for Men Sandao, Gege, Liu Lin and Lucky plus Sandao's friend from Imperial Manchu who tried to assassinate Prince Qi (forgot his name). I guess we're supposed to root for them as they are the "good" guys. Too bad all of them died them although some are off screen. Initially I liked Wang Jialou but I guess he was too rigid and stubborn.
I also love Men Sandao's arguments with Liu Lin, they would make great friends if they were to live.
I think one of my favorite scenes was in episode 32 where they were fooling around instead of talking about treasures.
