I really don't care whether it's BL or bromance as long as the story is great.

The original novel is not BL, I think even in the show, it's not BL (unlike Untamed or Words of Honour)

It's still a great show with great bromance

For my interpretation, bromance is different from BL. So it's friendship bromance.

I don't subscribe to youku so I watch it with regular schedule. I have only watched up to episode 10. I didn't know what to expect but the story is great. Didn't expect for me to get addicted and want to watch the next episode soon. They have a good balance of thriller, mystery, romance, and humor. Plus the characters are smart which is a plus.

Yeah, some cases can be slow but I think the acting which is great.
