The Netflix version of Three Body is out. I want to see how the team that made GOT spent US$20mm per episode to…
Ah, you are the book reader. I was planning to read the books but again the series was not completed yet.
Indeed. It usually didn't happen this way but that's what made it interesting. And the death of Oberyn Martell was still traumatizing because it was so graphic.

I agree about the first few seasons. It was so great. I was so naive back then thinking the good guys would win in Season 1. Of course Sean Bean characters often die.

The part about making GOT made me worried as how it became a train wreck in last few seasons. I saw similar comments on Youtube when the trailer for Three Body was out. Let's just hope it's good.
Does this drama get better after few episodes ? I have watched 20 min and I am actually bored since the 1rst minute...…
Yes. It gets better.
I was actually not interested in the fight scenes in the beginning of this show as I thought it would be highly stylized fighting like anime throughout the series, but later on the tone of the story totally shifted. It became detective stories with bromance and plenty of humor. So I got addicted from episode 2 onward. It's one of the best C-drama I have watched so far (I don't watch too many because I'm quote choosy but I love good plots with mystery, humor, and friendship thrown in and this show has plenty of that)
LOL, yes, I think we have discussed about it in the "Judge Dee's Mystery" thread. Even I don't really finish one free episode in a day as I feel bored watching it. The current "free" storyline is not appealing at all.
I read your review way before I watched this drama. I think I watched this drama early last year.
Yeah, the MRF's sacrifice was out of nowhere. When I watched that scene I finally understood the title of your review π€£
Lingsu's death was so sad as well but at least it's canon.
They were indeed too many Nan Lan and Tian Gui Nong's scenes until my mom and I wondered why they took over the story and we barely had Hu Fei or MRF in some episodes.
There are surprisingly some humour sprinkled in this serious show which I appreciated.

LOl about the budget for Netflix and Tencent.

No wonder I haven't seen him π€£
How about Zhao Li Ying and Kenny Lin? Does it mean she will have the first billing?
The case afterward is so boring.
