I feel positive about the drama cause the anime had happy ending and I think the writers are gonna roll with it…
I hope it’s a happy ending cuz the ending for love alarm made so many people trash the drama even tho it season 1 was pretty popular.

I loved this show even when I don’t usually enjoy the female chases male first trope! The female lead is just so enjoyable to watch. She doesn’t let people walk all over her and she’s the one who is making the bold moves on the male lead first when it’s often the opposite. I have lost interest in overly cute romance cdramas lately but this drama brought me back immediately.

If we were basing it off the manhwa then I think SWL suits the role of him better. Sang Yan in Hidden Love was more hyper while him in hidden love was more of a quiet romantic. I haven’t watched the drama adaptation yet but I probably will.

Agreed. All she wanted was someone that loves her and when she finally got it, he ended up dying… his death was kind of pointless since it doesn’t do anything for the plot. The writers should have just made them end up together.

The best part is that the FL wasn't overly checky and the ML wasn't the typical smart kid like most young romance…
I liked that the main couple had their own strengths and weaknesses in different subjects. Zhang Lurang is the typical studious student but his weakness is English while Su Zai Zai is pretty average for other subjects but her strength is English. It’s not the same typical cliche where one of them is all smart and the other is all dumb.
