I really like the structure of the episode, with each other having a main problem to solve or overcome, while also moving closer towards the overarching plot which is to win the Hot Wave competition to regain the club's reputation, and falling in love.

I think the no dating rule re-established just makes the characters work harder to win the competition.

It is also refreshing not to have a human villain in the show like the jealous gf trope or unsuppprtive parents trope.
