Mixed feeling about the last ep. I love the positive messages it conveys. But tbh it's quite confusing and the…
The ending is implied to be after the kidnap and before their trial based on the News broadcast where protestors demand Twain to be investigated. The gang is put on bail and trial usually takes more than half a year before it happens.
For Dan, I am thinking more on the line that since the other 2 police officers are KO'ed, he can pretty much spin the story to be that the gang overpowered him. Would be nice to see how he got out of the situation though.
The ending was extremely open and unrealistic. Nothing happened to Tawin, they didn't face any consequences for…
It was mentioned in the news Tawin is being pressured to be investigated as more people started protesting. The gang was released on bail due to pressure from the protests as well. The ending probably took place before they go on trial, since trials usually take half a year or more to happen. It was a decent ending.
Love the fact that White's dad just disappeared off the face of the earth after episode 1. I wish him the best
Do you think the gang got out in bail was because of White's dad? This will be rather ironic, considering they are using his dad's connection to do exactly what the bad guys have been doing. lmao
The romantic plot had a satisfactory ending, but the political part of the story was full of holes. They committed…
I suppose that was what the extra 2 ep that were cut will address, so they have to shorten it to just the TV news scene, which at the very least gave us an explaination. It is also likely the gang might be on trail but it it usualy takes a long time before they face a judge or be given a sentence.
I agree the ending might felt rush, perhaps due to the cut from 16 ep to 14 ep, but it also make sense as changes (especially one in society) doesn't happen overnight. It goes back to the theme of fighting injustice, the work is never done. Hopefully we will get a sequel or at least a special episode. It was really enjoyable, going above and beyond what typical BL is capable of. It is nice to be part of this journey.
Same thoughts. My best guess is the conversation they had at the race track and bar that made them realise they…
I note the change when Lian and Yi were talking in the office and Yi say that if Lian don't do something, he is going to lose Nuea to a younger person in university (which is actually happening).
Also I think the 'straighten him out' might be a limitation to the translation. Likely it meant to get Nuea to be more mature like an adult and be truthful to yourself and take responsibility for your action and not hide behind made-up identity and lies. It would make sense as Nuea have always been a handful, seeing he is used to sneaking out the house, hence why his mother is worried.
