Does anyone knows what are the character's age? We learn ep 3 or 4 that the BL series they are shooting that Song is 18, ep 7 tell us Nut is 27, anyone knows how old is Ken?
This show totally failed the Bechdel test. At ep 3 the only time 2 ladies talk is when the neighbour spoke to the mum and they are talking about Nut and Tofu.
The only female characters are 1) Mum, who is a stay-at-home mother with mental health issue who lies about taking medication, 2) the boy crazy office lady, 3) the villianous gossiping next-door neighbour, 4) the other office ladies that squeals at 2 boys
So 30min into ep 1, who in the right mind thought the first thing to do with your master when he is drunk is to strip both him and yourself and cuddle together on the bed hahahahahaha 😂
Also does that mean the teddy bear knows whenever he does it with another guy? oh my...
Eventhough 6 episodes seems rather short for both stories I guess it makes sense that the editors/GMMTV cut Star…
After watching Enchante that drag out some parts despite the relative simple story, havingg just 6 episodes instead of 10 or 12 feel great. Might mean each episode is more significant and the plot will move faster.
Just finished episode 10, quite a simple and nice story with a realistic ending (also seems to hint to young Thais watching that education is important for a better life). P'Toy and P'Boss story felt a bit detached from the rest as the pair did not interact with the rest in the 2nd half of the show. Overall, exceeded my expectation seeing that most Thai BL that GagaOOLala got the license for aren't really high quality.
Just watched episode 2, got to say I am loving the exploration of the love between people of 2 different social-economic classes with different educational backgrounds (1 went to vocation school, the other to a medical college).
Just imagine Not me with the same cast, storyline, director and staff but with a big budget and no censorship!…
Can't really do much about censorship, but I get why GMMTV will allocate more budget to F4 though. Not Me is a bit more edgy and experimental and very close to what Thai government is comfortable with (not to mention it is a BL, which is censored in some countries), while F4 is a classic retelling of a story most people are aware of (at least in Asia), and the leads straight so it is easier to sell the show to other countries.
