I don't think that's an accurate representation of August, who doesn't despise Day, he loves him so much that…
Yeah, Day probably thought Mhok was straight since he is aware he used to have a girlfriend. If read like this, it would make sense why Day rather go for August.
OK. There were a couple of things wrong with this episode that I think were saved by the acting and the narrative…
I thought August's issue is he could not handle dating a blind person, seeing his poor handling during the practice jog. Still, it wasn't known to us if August is gay, bi, or straight.
Is this an original script? or adapted from a novel?
It's an original story. P'Aof the director said he was looking at novels but none of them had what he had in mind so the team decided to write the story from scratch.
lol, imagine the story from Yai's point-of-view. He is a shy and gentle 20-year-old gay intellectual living in 1920s northern Thailand. One day, he dreamt about a cute boy and the next day, said cute boy appeared on the river. For some reason, he has lost his memories, but he is literate in both Thai and English, knows how to draw, and also trains pigs. He also had a much more progressive worldview than other people, and spoke in a non-native accent.
Oh, I can see why this BL is rated so highly. I am on episode 4. Instead of just being a period romance story, it also comment on topics relevant to 1920s such as patriarchy and unequal access to education. It also got me curious about the Thai language, as most of the characters spoke Northern Thai instead of the common Central Thai.
Wow, that was a good show. I really enjoyed the characters and the friendships. I loved the main cast they did…
Can you imagine being turned into your town's gossip where a lady just pepper in totally untrue details. Then your student, who might as well be your godson, put up a play making fun of the most traumatic memory you have. Turns out he wasn't a bad guy at all (besides not giving the dead students a proper closure) and everything is just a rumor.
It’s labelled bl because there are a few queer characters but the lead himself is straight or maybe even bi…
The marketing or the social media person probably though since Fluke and Singto, both BL actors are in, they just assumed it is BL. They should really do their homework before tagging and posting.
Overall, i don't hate it but I don't love it either. There were not strong connections between the Red October…
Nai is heavily underused. He literally have a supernatural ability to see and communicate with ghost and the closet he ever actually used it (beside the crack house) was asking the female ghost to stop strangling Dan.
This series was phenomenal!! Some of the darker moments were hard to watch, but regardless this series was amazing!!…
For a brother who literally told Dan that he can't confirm if spirit exist, it seems weird he will perform a ritual that requires a human sacrifice. Kinda goes against the teaching. Suicide is also considered a sin, so it it even weird he himself did it. It's weird because the whole time he seem dismissive of ghosts and the occult but he performed a ritual hoping it will bring a dead person back to life.
i knew he was not dan as soon as he smiled when he saw master joe. i knew ittttttis there goin to be another season?…
If they do season 2, I wonder how would they bring Dan back, since he is stuck in the dark realm. Also, now that Trin's body has been found (and likely cremated) , there won't be another vessel for Dan's or Trin's soul.
So Trin was inside Dan’s body the whole time? Who killed Trin????
I don't think so? Trin was likely stuck in the dark realm for 2 years but is able to communicate with Dan similar to ghost (such as cutting Dan's arm), but when Dan's soul is about to go back to his body, Trin's soul took his place instead, hence why Trin's body re-appear in the lake where the news commented that the body did not decompose.
As for who killed Trin, Trin did not complete the forest spirit ritual (he left halfway, after puking and able to see ghosts). When he get to the lake, the forest spirit (which is also Dan's shadow) threw him into the dark realm.
