if they have all the previous main cast, I think this season will either be in flashbacks, or what we saw in season 1's last episode was not reality (like how they did in ben x jim), or this will be a completely different story.
what do we learn from this series: communicate!!!! If Vee and "character name but spoiler so not saying the name" communicated with each other, this wouldn't have happened.
oh my god, this show was something... I was holding my breath throughout the series (not literally or I wouldn't be able to type this comment lol). All jokes aside, it is so twisted and it makes you mad at places, so many crazy people. this show is not for the light-hearted, and I would suggest watching it in the day unlike me who finished it at 2am and then turned off my laptop, tried to sleep but couldn't and here I am at 3:17am typing this. Can't wait for season 2. Also, don't watch the trailer, go in without knowing anything. I remember watching the trailer and not wanting to watch the show.
this was so fucking dumb. I am a sucker for dark movies and dramas, but only when they are done right. This wasn't it for me. This is the most boring thing I've ever watched. For the first 11 mins, there r 0 dialogues. All the dialogues of the movie can be written on a single sheet of paper. This was a 1/10 for me. The guy who plays the student, his acting is so bad. His dialogue delivery is so rushed. The guy who plays the teacher is okay but doesn't give me that creepy vibe that he is supposed to give. Don't watch it. It is stupiddddd!!!!!
wait I am confused a bit, the first story is based on a true story... we know how it ended, so I am curious how…
True, maybe it will be an alternate ending kind of thing where we will get a similar story but the ending changes. Or maybe we will get an entirely different story but with the same actors playing the same characters.

This season was too boring for me. Wu Xie was annoying, the doctor was also kind of annoying until she goes to the trip with the Li Cu and his friends. Also, some questions: 1) in the beginning, I forgot the guy's name, but the guy who was the boss of Su Nan (Something Ma I think), what exactly did he need and what for. It was just addressed once although it played a huge part in the first couple of episodes. Was it the stone with that snake in it? where did it go after? Why is it so important? how to use it? Nothing is addressed. 2) Who was the group that was with Li Cu in the desert whose picture he saw with Wu Xie previously? 3) Where exactly is Zhang Qiling? 4) What was the music that Zhang and the doctor hear? 5) What is the real mystery behind the city? why is there so much treasure? what was going on with the mutations (the ones that we hear in the tapes)? 6) Does the map on the back has any more importance except for opening a gate while posing? 7) How r memories transferred through snakes? 8) Nothing much is mentioned about the snake tree either. What is it? how is it important?
Also, many characteristics of the characters have changed. Especially Hei Yan Jing. He is no more the greedy one. That was one of his important characteristics. Next: The friendship between the mains was amazing. The first few episodes were in fact really fun but the last few episodes got so boring, especially the scenes with Wu Xie and Su Nan.
Also, I hope it is not just me, but we need more of that dog's scenes. He was soo cute and was the star of that episode.
Idk why but i never felt sad for any of the characters ever. I am the person who cries easily even if a family hugs but this movie was not it for me. The story is actually beautiful. And the most beautiful thing about the movie is that it doesn't have many dialogues. The acting is amazing. But it didn't make me feel anything in the end. It would've worked much nicely as a series or a short film.
I don't want their story to ever end. I want more movies and series focusing on their stories in the future. Also, JC's acting is so praise worthy. Especially after the tug-of-war scene, I was crying because how good he acted in that scene.
