Movie was really good. I went in expecting a simple survival film based on a flood but there were so many unexpected elements. I didnt expect it to venture into the scifi genre at all. On top of that, several unpredictable ideas were introduced, like asteroid hitting Antarctica, the emergence of a new human race, time loops and creating memories through virtual experiences.
The scifi aspect was decent/ok, though there are still many things i didnt fully understand. However, the emotional core of the movie lies in the bond between the mother and child. Their entire story arc was devastating and it really made me sad at times.
Overall, the movie was great even though i didnt fully grasp some of the scifi elements or they felt underexplained due to time constraints. It probably would have worked even better as a 6 episode mini series exploring all these ideas.
Idk about others but the ending worked for me. You can interpret the ending in two ways. One possibility is that its intentionally left open to set up a potential S2. The other is that this is simply Ahjin’s story, she survives, disappears and continues her cycle of manipulation and calculation somewhere else. For a character like her, that interpretation feels very fitting.
Even if S2 never gets made, the second interpretation still aligns well with the drama’s main theme.
Additionally, the drama was already exceptional in so many aspects. Even if someone feels the ending wasnt ideal, it still doesnt diminish what the drama achieved as a whole. After all, its rare to get drama with such unique characters, powerful performances and strong direction. For those reasons alone, this drama remains one of the best for me.
Finally finished the drama and the final episode was just so damn good and really thrilling. Even though the ending felt a little rushed, i still really liked how everything wrapped up. JCW was absolutely exceptional here, his performance and action scenes were on another level.
The show definitely had a few flaws but the sheer excitement it gave me in every episode made the whole experience worth it. For that reason alone, its a solid 10/10 from me.
I did give this show a fair chance, i watched up to 14 eps but its still so boring so im dropping it now. The first few eps were engaging and exciting, but it completely fell flat afterward.
does anyone know why the show took years to air despite being supposedly filmed years ago?also i feel like Jo…
This was initially supposed to air on tvN but tvN later rejected it so in the end they streamed it on TVING.
I think same thing happened with Heesu in Class 2 as well. I guess mostly bcz the nature of show, very much youth oriented it was, so they thought maybe family oriented audience may not like it (will not give high tv ratings) so they ended up making it as complete OTT show in that process it got delayed alot.
Just finished last 2 Eps and honestly, its one of the best teen romcoms i have watched in a long while. The ending felt a little rushed but every character still received a satisfying conclusion, which left me really happy overall.
The drama portrays journey of underconfident nerd teen girl Woo yeon. She starts off as an insecure, underconfident teen and even when she was in relationship, those insecurities continue to surface. Her growth felt so real and relatable especially for anyone who has gone through that awkward phase of trying to understand themselves.
Ki Jeong was my absolute favorite. I liked him from the very beginning to the end, definitely one of my top kdrama male leads in recent years. The supporting characters were also nice, with the second couple having their own charm and the entire Spirit Fingers club being quirky and lovable in their own unique ways.
In the final two episodes, there was bit of drama but it never took away from the overall joy. In fact, those moments were essential for Woo yeon’s character development.
Overall its an cute and heartfelt teen romance that balances charm, humor, and growth perfectly. Im really glad i watched it.
I was the one who brought up the makeup issue but have you seen the score i gave?? Its 8.5, how is that a low…
Then what's the purpose of complaining about other dramas in this comment section?? Do u think everyone is child to not understand to whom ur comments were directed to?? And on top of that u are hurling abused at me?? Wow, what a audacity.
I was the one who brought up the makeup issue but have you seen the score i gave?? Its 8.5, how is that a low…
Then tell me, why are you bringing complaints from other drama comment sections here?? Now that i have called you out, you immediately resort to this kind of language?? You revealed your true colors pretty quickly. But dont worry, i have already reported you for abusing me.

“Rating the drama very low because the makeup is not good” thats what you said and now you are trying to deny it?? And if your comment was about some other drama, then why are you making a fuss here?? Shouldnt you be talking about it in the right place instead of dragging it here?? And whats the point of bringing up other dramas in this discussion??
Do you think im 12 or something, that i cant understand who your comment was directed at?? If you have the guts, then say it directly on my face instead of taking indirect jabs and then denying it by saying you were talking about some other drama and blah blah.

Then show me a single comment where someone said the makeup isnt good. Your first point was literally about the makeup issue, you saw my comment just a few comments below and assumed im a hater who gave a low rating just because i said the makeup isnt good. And yes, you dont need to explicitly mention my name. I can understand that much.
Sometimes it pains me to see how pathetically shallow and hypocritical some audience are, rating the drama very…
I was the one who brought up the makeup issue but have you seen the score i gave?? Its 8.5, how is that a low score in any definition?? I didnt like the makeup, so i mentioned it. I also shared what i liked as well. So if you dont know anything, just Shut up.
Also, i personally dont think people are downvoting. Its hardly 320 voters, mass downvoting happens when there are thousands. And even if someone is downvoting, they would be silent. They are not going to leave a comment here and then give a 1/10. So you guys are barking at viewers who simply have a different opinion and are neutral. But with this kind of treatment, you are basically forcing neutral viewers to become haters. Great job.
And if you dont know anything, then just stay silent and let people express their opinions. Its not your fan site. If you only want to praise everything blindly, then go create a fan group on discord and praise as much as you want.
I just want to know why Ms. Lin had an affair with the ML’s dad and what her purpose is in still keeping the ML and his sister under her custody. Are they some kind of special humans or what?? I havent read the novel and i dont mind spoilers either.
