While watching Tong and Pok's parts in ep 11, it reminds me of My Gear And Your Gown (the hate to love trope)
I guess Gen Y is supposed to be a "mashup" of various BL Story spinoffs. The main characters are obviously based on the 2moons characters (but with a different storyline and a bit different name). And yes, Tong and Pok kinda reminded me of MGAYG as well.
