In John 8:7, Jesus stood up and responded to their question about the stoning, “Let him who is without sin among…
"Focus on righteous judgment rather than outward appearances" (John 7:24)
“You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor. (Leviticus 19:15).
You lack context. Taking verses out of context is not the way. The verses you provided are about unrighteous judgment, but Christians are commanded to judge justly, especially when other Christians sin. IU is a christian but she is bragging about her donations in media to elevate herself. That's wrong, and my judgment was not unjust.
Here what the word of God says about this: "Beware of doing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. Therefore, when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you." (Mt 6:1-4)

Stupid and over-the-top. Unfortunately, compared to the film the series is based on, it falls flat. The very first scene is already idiotic, where a guy drives along the wall in a tunnel. The whole thing is uneven and bizarre. First it’s like Prison Break. Then it briefly turns into Death Race, only to wrap everything up very clumsily and hastily in the final episode.
Because normal people are fed up with celebrities living in their bubbles of constant attention and detachtment from reality. I guess all the teenage girls were at school at that time :)
Honest question: After watching the trailer for this show, I felt like I was throwing up pink hard candies mixed with cotton candy. Does the whole show look this plastic, fake, and overly sweet?
Comments like these are honestly part of the reason so many actors struggle with their mental health. At the end…
You will always struggle mentally if you care so much about what others think about you. Plus, it's their mentality itself. They put so much pressure on themselves (the whole Korean nation). They are trained to be perfect, work hard, and not enjoy their lives because they must please others. The heck with that.
Big Hollywood stars don't give a rat’s ass about what people think. Harrison Ford constantly makes fun of people who criticize him, turning everything into a big joke. The same goes for Samuel L. Jackson. He played in some bad movies and was criticized for it, and he is so laid-back about it. He’s just doing his job and enjoying life. Assholes will be assholes. The real question is: why are you trying to satisfy them? Stop. Otherwise, you will always be miserable.
