It's a good improvement in the BL scene that the characters are able to affirm their own gender in front of the camera. Enough with the stigma of being who you really are.

god that was so hard to watch for me because it basically hit the home. im also a gay and my parents are homophobic…
I feel for everyone who found themselves in that kind of situation. In a way I feel a little bit grateful that my parents turned out to be more accepting, my grandparents though were a lot like the parents in this show.

WOW, just Wow! Episode 9 really knocked it out of the ballpark. The biggest OMG moment for me was that family fight and what Gene said about his dad. I hope they can keep up the momentum for the last 3 episodes.

Gene with his insecurities has been living in his own safe bubble and Nubsib is just what's needed to help him open up. I just wish everyone would be able to meet someone like that in their lifetime. God knows there are those of us who need that kind of catalyst.

I can't believe I'm so hooked on this series. I'm actually re-watching all 8 episodes again since I can't get enough of their chemistry.
