I liked but...
My review of Knot:
I liked the story! From what I’ve seen and read, it’s actually a light and enjoyable narrative to follow.
In terms of the cast, Boat, Oat, and Thee really carried the show for me—they clearly delivered the best performances. The soundtrack (OST) and music selection were also solid and didn't fall short.
However… even though I enjoyed the plot, a few things held me back:
Dialogue and Acting: Several dialogues and some performances felt quite artificial, taking away a bit of the scenes' emotional weight.
Makeup and Aesthetics: The makeup on certain actors was so heavy that it gave them an almost "plastic" look, in a very unnatural way that ended up being distracting.
The series had an interesting concept and potential, but it ultimately got dragged down a bit by the art direction (makeup) and the lack of naturalness from part of the cast.
