I just want to know why did it end like that

it started confusing and ending confusing. But I have to say they had me hooked in the middle. and this is some of the best acting I saw so far in a BL. it wasn’t bad I just wish they give us more episodes and make them longer so it can all make sense and close out all the lose ends. I need answers about the ending because I was so lost

Not goin to lie I really thought they recast Gu I was about to be so upset I had to look it up multiple times because he didn’t look the same without his beard 😭😭😭 but it took me 12 minutes into it to see that he do look the same when they do a close up. He even switch up some how he was playing the character that also another reason I thought it was something else because we got to see how he is when he really happy and don’t have to worry about his mom like in the show. But he looks good with and without the beard but I’m so used to him with the beard. I feel like the only thing I didn’t like about this is it wasn’t long enough I wish they would have made it an hour and give us more of them as a couple because I loved every minute of it

I also want them to do that because I just watch the movie and they left it open and didn’t tell us their plans but I think they are still together and just doing long distance again and I’m hoping I’m right but I would still like to see another season, special or movie to tell us. But to me they will find a way back to each other
