The only review that is not a 10. đ. I have to agree though. Everything is sooooooo pretty (ok, the three girlsâ clothes/hair accessories are too pretty given that they are not rich). Every scenes is just so pretty, they really put so much effort into visual.
As pretty as the visual and as different as the story compared to others (smart strong women, mature relationships), this drama somehow isnât memorable. The high isnât high and the low isnât that low. The funny bits arenât that funny. The lovey dovey scenes arenât that lovey dovey. They are just meh. đ€·đ»ââïž Compared to The Eternal Love Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (even though itâs as super simple love story), itâs so pale in comparison in term of the feels it gives.
I donât feel like binge watching it unlike other memorable drama.
Goodbye My Princess, donât let the ending scare you because itâs really beautifully made.
Cute scenes between Xiao Feng and Gu Xiaowu. This one is so beautifully shot https://youtu.be/dFBa_4br1dw. The OST sang by Chen Xing Xu and Peng Xiao Ran is so beautiful as well (the actors sing them beautifully) https://youtu.be/dzycWu6EFhk
LOVE your Lesson Learned because its true on so many levels. :D And I esp was kind of amazed that despite you…
I donât mind Ye Hua in black costumes only, he looks so regal and majestic in it. đ I thought overall the costumes are very appropriate for the worlds they are in. The only exception is Sujinâs costume, she is always wearing the same thing. đ
Lol King The Eternal Monarch and Melting Me Softly were flops in Korea. And I think a lot drama-watchers struggle…
Took me 35 episodes to start enjoying The Untamed, it really starts off boring and confusing. The women of the show are all dumb/evil. I like the ending and the beautiful OSTs but just donât understand the huge hype about it.
I think you should start Eternal Love from episode 10 on, you are missing Ye Hua story. Mark Chao is just so amazing…
I wasnât a fan of Yang Mi at all and for the longest of time, I didnât really want to start the drama because I thought Mark Chao wasnât good looking (what most people thought at first) and that itâll just be so cheesy. But oh boy, I was so wrong and am glad I watched it! Mark Chao really carries the drama. I have never seen better acting, better kisser and manliest ML in cdrama. Most dedicated ML in cdrama and he doesnât fall for evil ladies scheming, which is very refreshing in any drama. Watch this clip (starts funny too đ) and you could see his amazing acting https://youtu.be/X5ZWPugzKU0
I enjoyed (and related) to your article - thanks for putting it together! I am learning to drop dramas but I do…
Same, not a fan of her character Fengjiu and her acting eitherâŠ. Only watching (and glad I did) for Mark Chaoâs Ye Hua. I have never seen better acting, best kisser, and best hair from an ML in cdramaland. đ
I will never ever understand people how like Fengjiu and Dong Hua pairing better than Ye Hua and Qian Qian, I've…
Totally agreed with regard to Fengjiu and Dong Hua pairing. Fengjiu is just so annoying that sheâs almost like Sujin in a way. I skipped all their scenes.
For the people that dropped Eternal Love by the 10 first episodes, I really recommend giving it another try cuz…
Agreed! One could start from ep 10 and once finished, rewatch ep 1-10 for backstory. Mark Chaoâs performance as Ye Hua is not to be missed, such great actor! đ
I couldn't bring myself to watch more than 4 or 5 episodes of Eternal Love. The only reason I watched these episodes…
I think you should start Eternal Love from episode 10 on, you are missing Ye Hua story. Mark Chao is just so amazing as Ye Hua. Itâs ok to skip 10 episodes and then once you finish, you could go back and watch after. I skipped all second leads romance scenes, they are so boring.
