From what I understood, the short girl has a crush on the diabetic girl, then she sees her boy classmate read a love letter, risks her life to find it among his things (because she’s bored? Idk), realises that it’s from that girl, and somehow develops a crush on the boy too? Because the girl she likes happens to like him? Some kind of weird empathy thing? But of course, the boy is aroace (or has some kind of supernatural power), and sees right through her; that’s why he tells her to stop lying to herself. He knows that she doesn’t really like him. And the diabetic girl is pan, so it doesn’t make much difference to her anyway. Are y’all seeing what I’m seeing? If not, then the narrative choices the production team made should have been reevaluated.
The dude sucks the life out of you even through the screen. Someone like that would be a nightmare to deal with irl. But he did warn her, I think, when he said that his ex called him ‘suffocating’ or something along those lines. She should have listened. The flag has never been redder.
