Sorry to inform , after watching 4 episodes i virtually gave up of this drama. There are too many flashbacks which dragging too much of time. I tried my best to finish 1 episode at a time but i felt very tortured. The storyline keep on jumping 7 years back and forth making me lose track to trace locating the stopping point .

This story uses the same old story plot for every Chinese drama, first of all I do not seen any exciting or creativity on every episodes instead I found it is rather boring setup though. I really wish Chinese drama features more adventure theme which features some new ideas.

during the second season Im expecting the continuation from the first season where Gu Xuan Er stole the jade pendant from Xiao Yan. It seems both storyline is not related either. On this season 2 Xiao Yan character is much more cheerful and kind of childish while her sidekick is really a super glue to this xiao yan.

This drama is below my expectations. Im looking forward for more fighting scene but most of the fighting is simply mediocre or below par on every standard chinese drama. The drama genre stated it is a comedy but this comedy seems rather cheap to laugh at. It is not professionlly done and most of the editing simply did not follow the flow of the storyline. It seems more like a short length low budget drama instead. Sorry to tell this drama is very low quality indeed. No new ideas and nothing interesting scene for me to remember. Rating wise i only could give 2 out of 10 and there is no rewatch value in it.

Just finish all the 40 episodes. I felt like this drama more suitable to feature in cartoon rather than drama. The fighting scene is too cartoon ish. A lot of CGI felt like copy and paste from a computer games. Dong bo xue ying felt rediculusly too powerful. If this drama targeted towards children then I would agree. Mature viewers is not recommended

this drama really got me tricked!!....I finished the drama firmly believed this is shot in Africa but in fact the filming set is done in Hainan Island China!!..... It is such a surprised when so many Africans involved in this production.

It is very much understood the lack of subtitles on this drama. This drama is not meant for international audience rather it is targeted towards the mainland Chinese itself. you could see there is not much commercial value on this drama as it is heavily subsidized by the government. As I had watched these similar genre dramas before the plot often start with hard life on common people. Their dependence on foreign technology had been cut off forcing them to be depend on themselves in finding a way out, generation of family past by making progress and finally they stood at the top of the chain. Most of the plot features hero and heroine sharing the equal ability to do the contribution to the communist party and the nation. By conclusion some people might like it and some people hate it. I personally stood neutral by not raise out any criticism or even praise.

A harem is no more applicable in modern chinese society. There is a strict rules in Chinese dramas set by the government where many things such as sexy outfit, cigarettes, faul speech, go against government authority and as mentioned womanising is totally prohibited

sex is really a serious matter in China. Most of the parent would think if their girl lose their virginity before marriage then their daughter's value would drop significantly. For the girl's side sex is a form a sacrifices and a seal of contract towards the boy she had chosen. So separation is a totally out of question any longer. It is a real norm when the girl would control their boyfriend's daily activities especially in cross gender interaction and even the boy's financial expenses. The next step would getting ready for a house, marriage and even having children. Well this is China. love is a very serious matter.

a very unique chinese style in relationship....NO SEX until they got married. Im surprise despite having a boyfriend and girlfriend both alone inside a room they had no intention of sleeping together and maintain the girl's innocence. They boy himself also abstain from further advance limited to only on hugging and kissing.
