Fun fact : this movie is way better than a lot of current Chinese movies that have the accessablty to new technology methods.

One of the best movies I have ever watched delivered a message beautifully: bullying is a real issue that we all must stand against. Some dramas and animes have portrayed bullies as cool people, but in reality, they are selfish and cowardly. If you see someone who has been bullied, please stand up for them and protect them; however, do not force yourself on them; simply show them that you care for their well-being and health. I know that some may be afraid of helping others, especially in school environments, but believe me, it is karma, and as long as you face the bullies for someone else with good intentions, you will get the best in your life, and you may even save someone's life.

I just finished this amazing drama. I really missed Taiwanese dramas that used high-quality production and outstanding acting skills. The more I thought about the plot, the more I discovered hidden meanings. It showed what loneliness can do if a person has not stepped out of it, what it is like to lose a beloved someone, and how regrets are not the type of feeling that you want to spend your life with. You should cherish the people you have and show them the love they deserve. Last but not least, no one should make a decision on behalf of someone else.

At first, it might be confusing, but u must give it a shot. I liked how unique the plot is, and it contains a message that made me think deeply about families in general. The movie's vibe is awesome; I'd definitely watch any Chinese movie with that vibe.

Have never seen a historical Chinese drama with a female-centered plot, there is no complicated relationships or struggle of power like in many other historical dramas. The story is perfect, also the characters are unique. The Acting skills were so fine. If you feel sick of period dramas, give this drama a shot, It's worthy.

I'm surprised that a perfect and flawless drama like The Long night has existed, honestly, every episode is a piece of art.
The cast is unbelievable, I don't think we have ever had as good as them in Chinese dramas.

Glad you like it, this drama is a hidden masterpiece. I highly recommend the Bad Kids if you have not watched it yet. Also, Joy of Life if you are a fan of the Chinese historical dramas.

I don't know where you live, but in Asia there are the same opinions and thoughts about females and the social status especially from the old people , so the drama just reflects this and shows the society's judgments.

Underrated drama. After I watched it I discovered that I have read the manhua and that surprised me because there is no information about the basis . The storyline is perfect, also the acting good, I was full of excitement to watch what going to happen.

Many of the historical Cdrama have the same atmosphere, you can watch Princess Weiyoung, the rise of the phoenix, the long ballad and the story of Ming Lan.

Profound drama with perfect acting. It's not rainbow drama, is so realistic and shows different opinions about life. High rated in China and Taiwan, so if you want to watch it, plz don't care about the rating here.

I feel the relationship between the main couple is too toxic, she barely knows him, but she immediately fells in love with him and make him control everything in her life. If anyone meet someone like the main male, then you should run as much as possible.

The story is fine, but it's not unique. The relationship between the main couple is so good and mature, if you don't like misunderstanding in relationships, then you should watch this drama.
