Honestly this series gets SO GOOD towards the end...they clearly wrote it with a S2 in mind. I really hope they get to make S2 because Tang San has just come into full power now!!! So much more plot is remaining for the story even after these 40 episodes. But great series for S1!!!!!

Yes, I agree. It's the same 3-4 pieces of music (like the flute) that are repeated at the most inappropriate times. I wish they'd change the BGM for future re-releases. The series deserves epic fantasy music!!!

The music is very out of place, and frankly lessens the effectiveness of some of the moments. Having said that, honestly the series gets really really good after ep 15, once the Shrek seven devils unite

The story starts off a bit slow since they are setting up the world, but then it really gets exciting after ep 13...after ep 20 it's pretty fast paced and immersive.

Sorry, I have to go on like an intense rant on Xiao Wu & Tang San's relationship. I honestly hate the relationship…
That's why I am onboard the Hu Liena & Tang San ship..I LOVE a bad b!tch and a good boy together hehe...it'll never happen, but atleast there's more chemistry/conflict/intensity than XW and TS.

I feel like XW could be a better character if she just had SOME impact on the plot. But the last thing she actually did was save Tang San when he was under the spidey soul influence...after that she's just been hopping around.
