Guys i have decided that i'll give it a go. Many people are saying that its bad and rating it down but I want…
some bad reviews here are from delulu shippers of the actor's previous drama. they leave bad reviews in every platform. Don't believe them and try watching it yourself. it's a bit cliché but it's fun and light and had us giggling and kicking our feet
FYI, this review was written based only on 3 or 4 episodes not 12.
probably a hater. LR shippers hating PC for the most absurd reasons. this OP rated LR 10/10. what a critic. go on, keep hating PC and rating it 1 or 0 stars on every platform. i hope that makes you happy
Help me understand the cultural context. I am also Asian but the near servile attitude of kids to parents is new…
arranged marriages are rare nowadays for common people, I can't speak for the rich people though. careers/college courses are mostly decided by parents, especially for the upper middle class/rich people, although it is slowly being frowned upon these days. Filipinos take filial duties seriously. But the new generation are now very vocal on what they want and don't want. Strict and conservative practices are called out now.
the story was published and printed and the author added special chapters. it was also mentioned in another story…
I just finished reading the book and I was hooked with the story. It's so goodddd. But I didn't read anything…
the story was published and printed and the author added special chapters. it was also mentioned in another story of the author 'University Series Drafts' and I think on the 5th book, although I'm not sure abt that one. Celestia is their only child. it wasn't mentioned in their own book, excluding the special chapters I mentioned.
I don t understand why one episode at weeks i am so impatient to wait. I want filippine drama to give us two ep…
Filipino dramas are usually 5eps per week, Mon-Fri. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but we started adapting the 1-3 eps per week during or post-covid. And this is a drama from an OTT platform. But 5eps drama per week are still the norm but mostly on the mainstream media, free-to-air TV, it's mostly makjang type.
Any Filipino here? Are the actresses getting spray tanned, is it a trend there
No. Filipinos are mostly tan. Fair-skinned Filipinos are usually half-Filos, with Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and other western bloodlines. The trend is actually and always has been whitening soaps, lotions, gluta pills, drips, everything gluta. Thankfully, more are embracing their natural skin tone these days.
Did the emergency situation happen on the flight to Dubai or on the return flight from Dubai to Manila? Or was…
i don't think there is. you're gonna have to use google translate or the likes. the fourth book Avenues of the Diamond just started streaming this month too. it's on the third ep.
Did the emergency situation happen on the flight to Dubai or on the return flight from Dubai to Manila? Or was…
Maybe read the novel too? But I think it would be hard for non-Filipino readers to understand especially the humor. It's a great read but I think the charm wouldn't be there if it's translated. Too bad.
In Korea, if it's just on streaming platforms, not much censorship. They have more freedom, take for example Queen…
In Korea, movies are less censored too. A Frozen Flower, Empire of Lust, Parasite, the list goes on. If you're really used to mainstream Korean series and movies, they're really heavy on censorship and more on the PG, cutesy side. You'll be surprised to see the movies and series on streaming platforms. The Glory was a Netflix exclusive/original.
go on, keep hating PC and rating it 1 or 0 stars on every platform. i hope that makes you happy
