As someone who works in oncology this really does hit home. I have seen first hand the things patients can go…
note: i still haven't seen the last episode but the comments not marked as spoiler pretty much gave it away
you saying "we wouldn't let an animal suffer" reminded me of the beginning of the series when Tew put the goat (i think that was a goat?) out of it's misery. i truly thought throughout the episodes that he would come around the concept and morals of euthanasia (sooner?), since he himself did the same to another living being.
They will become a couple soon ( probably in the next two or three ep) but when the parents find out they will…
let's try again: "you didn't hurt me but i am kind of sick of this theme on the internet. you seem genuine so I'll help you out: the lgbt community is an agglomeration of sexualities and gender identities perceived to be out of the "normal", they can also identity themselves as being queer. so gays are lgbt, lesbians, bisexuals and some more that take a while to get used to. this also includes transgender and transexual people (not the same), also people who fall out of the binary. it is not my experience, i cannot tell you how it feels. but i do know that the people you mentioned who identify has animals (not to confuse with furries, ig that's more of an hobbie) and objects are often just transphobic and trolling, trying to make fun of people who are already seen as too different, so to dismiss their experiences and limit their autonomy.this is kind of a starting point on the matter, but some people are really mean to the lgbt community because of ignorance and i get sensitive. sorry if i was rude too"

i was going to give you some context about the community and why your comment kind of triggered me but i wasn't able to for some reason (can't message you either, thanks MDL ig), because you seem genuine.
I'll just say that i am sorry too, i came of as rude.
Welcome to the real world. This actually good a representation of our sick reality. Female body is a million time…
talking about oppressed female bodies, did anyone else feel crazy uncomfortable during the bidding scene? the concept itself is so inhumane, but the women inside made me wanna drop this, touch grass and open a charity...
When I heard how Juicy Seyoon gets 3 million pounds a year from just dancing on camera half naked, it was a big…
some things really make you wonder how we came to this point. the world is so fvcked up. but ,hey, props to her to use it in her favor, you gotta be smart to do it well.
i found your comment funny, but i think you kinda missed the part where the seoul represented is an dystopian…
fair enough, tbh i haven't paid a lot of attention to that, i just thought what i wrote since almost the beginning and rolled with it. the "right crime scene" is a fact, maybe he's just lucky like that lmao. edit: i am starting to think ga-on is actually orchestrating everything so he looks good on the picture
i feel like we can't really judge ga-on that hard because he is actually just clueless. i think he represents…
also i just saw another comment calling ga-on naive, and yeah i agree. his impotence towards the world and him really trying to deny the fact that the law he studied so hard for and the good world he craved so badly are crazily out of reach makes him such a human. AND OH HOW I LOVE HUMANS. this drama really makes you think huh. humans are just so cute, they want to live so bad but are never able to understand what it takes. and we think, and we ponder, and the we think again... and there's still no answer. no definite answer, no guide book on how to live well and let live.
I really like this drama so far, but let me talk about the funny basic drama logic for a second:1. seoul is a…
i found your comment funny, but i think you kinda missed the part where the seoul represented is an dystopian (almost apocalyptic) seoul. people are dying from poverty in every corner of every street and extremist guilds go around chasing minorities for fun - the always on the crime scene explanation -, also probably a lot of unemployment and no jobs to get to, and later on the "emergency state" of the country because of an alleged resurface of the virus that lead to all the misery in first place - the viable explanation for the empty streets. still your comment made me chuckle so thanks for that
I LOVE kang Yohan and I HATE ga-on. Most stupid and useless main character he just messed everything up royally…
i feel like we can't really judge ga-on that hard because he is actually just clueless. i think he represents the watcher (a white canvas generalization of a human, or a self insert if you'd like), he's being manipulated constantly and does a great job being confused and trying to react according to his morals (which i believe being the most normal of the bunch). he's not really the main character, more of a walk through tutorial for the viewer, who sometimes reacts - probably because the audience would be rightfully pissed if he was just there more than he already is.
also he's surprisingly a great support for yohan and elijah. i never felt frustrated by his actions, i felt more of a sympathy, everything he does is very ga-on of him, justified by what we know of his life. I'm still on the last episode, but i truly think yohan would've not come this far without ga-on (likein his relationship with elijah and how he's becoming more honest to himself even). you know how good opposition keeps you growing and improving yourself.
and jinyoung obviously does a great job, i haven't seen him act before and i was baffled.
hi, i do agree with the fact that their chemistry was free falling along with the episodes and the draaaaaaaagging, but i'm not sure if you understood the enchanté thing right.
see, enchanté does not end up being Akk (the best friend), but actually Theo himself. this has made me even more mad because it is not about *deceiving while pretending to help*, it's about *deceiving and manipulating his friend*, while pretending to be genuinely concerned about finding the TeTe guy. Akk was constantly worried the 4 dudes where just trying to use Theo's position (which they were bit i personally couldn't care less), and Theo went along and played victim, knowing no one would be ze mystery guy.
and i am not even going to mention the mess after ep 8 bc i like my life and i do not wish to explode today :)
i saw another review saying Theo is not unlikable just not ~really~ likable, and all i have to say about that is that i hope he stumbles, falls face on the floor and chokes on pavement. sorry for the long comment
i quite enjoyed it. i didn't mind that he didn't have much of a motive because i feel like he just loved to play…
right?? i don't think every bad character should get the tragic background that explains his motives. sometimes people just are, and especially serial killers shouldn't be getting pity stories. the fact that he stole actual junyeong's identity but even the father wasn't really sure made me squeal so much. a great character played by a great actor honestly. as for the fml i guess people aren't thinking about how quickly this all happened and how well she actually adapted. she wasn't dumb at all, we just knew from the beginning and she was living it, not her fault. also glad that he was killed, i think that could have been slightly more dramatic, not sure how tho (maybe if she stabbed him, it kinda feels more personal ig). the way they just kept living in the last scene was a little off/too much, probably could have ended with the ambulances, but it's just a personal preference.
