ok I understand from other comments that the novel was very different so I understand more now why some are wanting to fight the writer. But for a non novel reader I was fine with this. Could be that the novel ending is for s2?

There was one point in 7 where they were talking to each other but it was shot at a weird angle like they weren't both on the same room. Urgh
