I agree. The Mol show and she was never ever made to face her nonsense which is why I kept watching, hoping for that show down even if we knew the ended wouldn't change.

This feels dated. Like a LGBTQ story that was told in the late noughties. It's a missed opportunity as it was well done.

I think I would have preferred it as just a detective comedy without the romance for main couple. That was the weakest bit for me.

Hot Stove felt like it could easily have had a 2nd season unlike other dramas that get re-commissioned. Maybe the main actors said no ?

This is a very judgemental comment. I never even bothered with Check Out after ep 0 and didn't like Unforgotten Night. However you have managed to jump to the conclusion that because I found this story boring, the main couple unengaging and the show draggy (I blame both the screen writer and the director for this) that it must be the lack of torrid scenes. If I recall they slept together early on then Duean assumed they were boyfriends which Plengrak fought but they acted like an old married couple anyway.

Anyway thanks for all the assumptions made on what was a one liner . A score of 6.9 tells you more about the general consensus than I could possibly put in words. It doesn't warrant a special and definitely not 2

yes and the dad was happy to have someone to talk cars and bikes with so it's a family win as a son in law.

I just read the novel. Doesn't seem so but, I like to think parents know and stan without the need for a whole come out scene :D
