thank you for this but I think the way they told the story in the series is different from the book which is why we are all confused by the slowness as we don't know Aue's backstory
Yes I sensed that the characters were going off piste. (I'm so annoyed at the writers) . I couldn't see Aek talk to Aue like that I get gay panic but given how little dialogue there is in this it felt over the top.
I love a good BL plot twist / surprise angle but this feels like MODC episode 10, unnecessary levels of angst in a story that didn't need it.
this actually upset me and I stopped watching when Aek was being a dick at the dinner table so, you lot are braver than me . We've been so invested in the slow, painful burn
All weekend I've been so looking forward to tonight's episode but I couldn't finish this episode. It was too out of character and dramatic when we've been subjected to the slow burn for two months. Couldn't they let them get together first before the angst /
They have 4 weeks to put humpty dumpty back together again.
But....as jpny01 and raf jokingly said in the comments below, it must be Mame's assistant who is writing for these…
If it's the Leon Pob story then we would all support the assistant because I love what she/he/they did with the side couple on this show. Especially Leon.
My guess on P'Pob is that he's finished his thesis / degree now and may get a job offer somewhere else or move back to where ever the orphanage is. That's what's making LeoN sad. Any other theories?
Well alrighty then! Ep 12 started with a bang
