There is a lot of misogyny and Heteronormative tropes in the BL space sadly which is why I always separate it from Gay Drama. I do think these female writers have a lot of toxicity especially when there's violent sex /rape unnecessarily. I'm here for the love story, not the meddling. Women either resisting or meddling in gay love is weirdly just fiction I hope

An example is Lovely Writer where there weren't any evil women (maybe Aey as a little more feminine) but then they had the producer and the sister who owned the agency upholding some of the negative BL ways.

I like the shows progression and exploration for the 4 guys . It didn't need the stalker girl who doesn't even go to that same school and all the drama she's bringing. Talk about a female incel. She needs to be written out of the show and not do that weak arse apology thing at the end and they all forgive her insidious ways

Glad there's going to be an ep13 and ep12 was good but I do feel that this show fell foul of covid restrictions maybe and poor script editing. It didn't flow like Taiwanese BLs typically flow. Didn't live up to it's full potential.

Looking forward to next week though!

There's an awkwardness for sure and I feel like a lot is to do with the editing and translation. So some progress seems missing. Like their moment in the water was a bit abrupt. I hear you. It would be ok if Sun and Sky were a more developed story.
