I hope this is a decent retelling. I’m a fan of (most of) the novel and thought the original drama adaptation…
Yeah I gave up on them following the book or the original after they made the 'poor' dad a joke. It's young , comedic and not in keeping with the other 2 sources so I'm treating it as a different series altogether . It's the only way I'll get through 20 more episodes
