Honestly I think partially that’s also just how the editing and TRP for TV works.. like they obviously cut down on a lot of the interactions so we don’t know just how close they’re getting behind the cameras + they emphasise on some relationships far more by reading into the smallest actions and replaying the same moment just to build a narrative. Then when there’s a slight change in emotions it seems like there’s a lot more drama to it than there actually is. I reckon she just has a bit of a crush on jeongsub but will eventually build her connection w cheolhyun, the producers are probably just trying to make it more entertaining lol
