There's really no usual cliche in this romance like misunderstanding created by secondary leads because they don't play any role atleast in the rom side of things. (btw actual leads)

Also let xiao en know that his grandson is in danzhou probably.. Nd also placed Fx in danzhou since he was young nd many more hints you should rewatch the ep 41-42Etc. In reality Chen ping ping nd emperor know whose son fx is.. Fx will also realize it by end of the whole convo with Xiao en that who his father is in a way (the DNA part ATLEAST)
