I think so. I think thats why hes so unquestioningly supportive of her—something he knows from the “past” life? There’s a scene where you can see a date on his wrist, just like the FLs
Because it short drama, less than 15 minutes per episode so they have less censorship. But starting 1st June 2023,…
I’m wondering if the crack-downs will continue or if the government will relent b/c it would be profitable since it would be appealing to international audiences. But the long ones are heavily censored and we all keep watching those. I keep trying to “quit” but never can. 🥴
This was very well done in many ways. I do wish they would have stopped telling the king to “forget” his first wife—you never forget, but you do have to move on. Or was “forget” a mistranslation?
Agree!! I actually fast forwarded through the entire last half to find the scenes b/w ML and FL and there were none! A show about a concubine trying to avoid the king was a great idea, but they just bombed the execution—despite some seriously funny moments. :)
Ive been thinking of writing a review on this one because it was one of my first KDramas and you said most everything I wanted to say. (Though I rewatch more LMH parts than WDH). And the soundtrack was excellent, in my opinion. :)
We think we are visual creatures but most often what draws us most to other people is because of how they sound…
Absolutely! I have dropped more than one audiobook because I could not handle the reader. Especially when its a male who tries to do female falsetto or someone who can't do accents tries to do them. *rolls eyes* The reader for the Harry Potter series and the two who read the Terry Pratchett books are AMAZING!
I watched Tomorrow dubbed in Spanish and they even found someone with a very nice voice to dub over LSH's voice. I didn't hear how he was done with an English voice, but the Spanish voice was nice. :)
Relating to CSS's mother... she's suppose to be divorcee before marrying css's father... any info on why she divorced…
I think that she really loves her daughter and is wracked with guilt over having left her so long. But she’s going about trying to fix it all wrong and just making the rift worse. :)
I don't think it is a bug. I read that a lot of people have accused this drama of Cultural appropriation and plagiarism…
That is an interesting accusation—and I wonder why people are upset by the fantasy world concept getting into S. Korean media. For example, I read that Novoland was inspired by LOTR, because many wanted a fantasy world that reflected ancient Chinese culture in the way LOTR reflects a fantasy version of ancient European culture. Makes sense that S. Korea would eventually do the same and create fantasy worlds, too. I love the fantasy genre, personally, so I hope more like this are made. :)
PS. Should we be sad there’s only SIX on that list out of all dramaland!?
