I'm really thankful for the explanation because on social media I could only see 2 extreme sides and couldn't get what was even happening. I agree that it's very cruel to portray history like that, it's like saying Hitler was justified in doing what he did, if I understood the issue correctly. But again, there was a lot of hardwork put into the show from all parties. I believe that if they should have released all episodes together on Netflix or something so that we could get a clear judgement on its offensive content. That is if they were sure that the plotline doesn't distort the facts. But anyway, as you said they are in their rights to air the drama and we are in ours to either support or boycott it. I just want that blinks try to understand that this issue isn't really about Jisoo, it's about the script and judge accordingly.

Now regarding that, it could definitely have been self harm because the mental state of Ji Hyuk wasn't very good during that time.. Also the people who said he was tortured most probably weren't the NFS who can differentiate between self harm and torture,. I think the former because First, I don't think RDC alone could've pulled that of (considering how good of an agent BMS is). Second, If RDC alone would've done that, why is BMS taking revenge on the whole NIS and why did he not just end it all by killing RDC.
Just when I thought we were having the perfect villian, they killed him off... And BMS, who I pitied for being like JJH is made the villian...... Now I think the next ep will end with BMS killed and in the last one they would introduce another mastermind and kill him off in the last ep lol....
