the day I saw ep 8 and ep 9 and then I see the news about Heechul and Momo ..... damn everything be hitting hard. I think at that moment for me it felt so real. the drama.
I don't honestly think that is a valid reason.I think it is because the show is a bit boring. It's a super nice…
Oh damn. That's toxic. Also I didn't mean you directly, I was just saying we shouldn't compare and like .. OP's post is about that(comparing) ! Series that have been coming out recently have been trying to break that pattern of toxic stuff. And I love it !! And I hope OP knows those shows are top rated as well.
Okay, but a completely different discussion, am I the only one finding the actors on the poster look different from the actors in the series ?? The kid looks similar-ish but the actors are way off for me T_T , maybe it's the edit,or the filter idk

I loved SOTUS, SOTUS S and papa and daddy. For me they all are different colors. I personally don't think we can compare them. Keeping aside that sotus is a legendary series, It has engineering background, yk the college background. From my pov, papa and daddy is like that laid back chill series we watch when we want to watch something quick and happy. As you said it doesn't have a definite strong plot,( this might be where a lot of people lose interest) I believe this is more targeted towards audience who want something light and happy to watch,(for me I find 2gether series very light) or for audience who are part of LGBTQ and want to have a beautiful series, that represents them and the life they envision or living, So that might be the reason why people aren't jumping every week to get on top of the episodes. Like with say manner of death or A tale of thousand stars, etc. Papa and Daddy, for me feels like one big comfort hug. I think this was aimed at LGBTQ people than, BL world. So, in conclusion, I don't think we can compare series like sotus to papa and daddy, they have their own color. And saying a series doesn't have a definite storyline isn't always bad, Some doesn't work but some definitely do. Just like papa and daddy series, it works pretty well, to have a look into mundane life of a gay married couple. PS: these are just my thoughts , if anyone disagrees please don't be rude about it. I also haven't seen the original op post, so I don't know what they said about HIStory 4,
PS: these are my opinions, if anyone doesn't like it please don't come at me.
Sometimes when deciding to watch a drama based on reviews, I wish someone would sum up in a short way rather than big big paras. So, for people like me out there, I will make this as short as my feelings would allow. I stumbled upon this drama very randomly and having nothing better to do, in the spur of a moment, I started to watch this. I feel so thankful that I did start watching this drama.
---- I love this whole drama with all my heart. It will forever stay close to me. The story starts right from childhood, and because of that, we really understand the characters. Not only our three main leads but the story, the acting every was so brilliantly planned that we really do understand the reason behind the actions of characters. Watching this drama, I honestly felt like I grew up with them. that they are part of me. ( I know it sounds dramatic, I am dramatic)
The story does have a romantic angle and I probably would've stopped watching if it were any drama but the transition was so beautiful and natural. It felt like something that would happen so naturally, it wasn't forced or it didn't feel out of place.
I love this drama will all my heart. One of the most beautiful journeys.
Why'd you dropp when Rona died i was stll gonna watch when i missed her prescence, this drama is just too good!…
When Ro Na died, I was very irritated that Joo Dan Tae and Cheon Seo Jin carried on. At a point I even had doubt like will anyone ever get justice in this show haha Also cause I really love Ro Na and Seok Hoon chemistry. I didn't exactly drop the show but I took a small break.
season 2:: I left this drama when Ro Na died. but I'm glad I stuck through with this. Omigod I still can't believe how this ended. Everyone who left this drama in middle, trust me, this one is a must-watch. Chen Seo Jin's acting, especially in the last episodes are just *chef's kiss*. Ahhhh Just push through Ro Na's death and it's honestly so good.
