I’m pretty sure the horror element is mainly how humanity is scary etc the cult. The cult is obviously sacrificing…
That's not quite true in terms of the plot point u mentioned.. but definitely, the horror elements are in the possibility of an endless damnation, moral dilemma in deciding good vs evil, and fear of the unknown

Have you finished it? How was it?
It gives off Midnight Mass vibes but its very gory so i guess its not for everyone. In terms of the narrative, it's very fast-paced, especially for ep 2. And a there's a big twist in ep 3 which take the series into an unexpected turn. Honestly, i feel like the first 3 episodes itself is sufficient as a separate mini series. I'm expecting the last 3 episode to have a different narrative direction. Excited to see how it all wraps up tho!
