Such a fun show! This is Fujii Ryusei’s best role since Blazing Transfer Students. 😂
He shines in these comedic, slapstick roles.

Up to episode 7 and really enjoying it so far! Gives off 500 Days of Summer Vibes. I think I’m a fan of Akaso Eiji too now. Anyone have recs for which of his dramas to watch next?

KudoKan’s still got it! With such an open-ended finale, there has got to be a movie or sequel. There has to be!!

I was caught off guard when they first broke out into song in the 1st episode but I started to look forward to the musical numbers as the show progressed. I think my favorite was Furuta Arata’s James Brown-esque rendition of “One Chance.” Absolutely hilarious. 🤣

Episode 8 definitely needs a trigger warning. I’m actually pretty surprised it was green-lit by Fujii Ryusei’s agency with the huge scandal going on.

I watched until the end and of course the ML protects the FL from any real harm. They reveal he pretended to betray her in order to protect her. He approached her in the beginning with revenge in mind but ended up really falling in love after marrying her.

Kinda funny because I just learned that the author of the manga this was based off of wrote that one too. 😆

Yes!! I also lol’d when Jugemu ranked Jui-chan number 1 in the Miyamura family and Yosuke way at the bottom.

T__T I was so angry and was like WTF?? at first but then it all made perfect sense.

It is sad. I cried for most of the episode with some laughing breaks in between. What a roller coaster ride of emotions lol. All I can say is, there is a character death and it’s not who you would expect it to be...

Be sure to watch the special before the series. It’s like a prequel. :)b

I should not have watched the final episode the first thing in the morning before work. Puffy eyes galore. T__T KudoKan confirmed that the ending was planned from the beginning. When Nagase announced his departure, KudoKan discussed with him if they should rewrite the ending but Nagase said he didn’t see why they should.

I think you will definitely enjoy Tiger & Dragon too if you haven’t seen it yet. Must watch!! :)
