Keep everything else aside, the character Gu Yi alone is enough of a reason to watch this drama.. never have i ever seen such bubbly, loveable FL.. Dear God, can i have a Gu Yi in my life..? I'd have nothing more to ask for... Shen Yue is LOVE.....
So the writter is taking the typical third class route...huuhhh.... i thought this drama would be different, out of the box type.. and it was, but then here we are again... it seems (most of the) chinese writters dont have the mind to do something unique... ruining a beautiful drama again with same old antiques... Playing with a woman''s heart and her feelings again and again and again... I dont see a reason why a woman should put up with this, no matter how severe the situation is... this is borderline insulting... Its hurting me to see my fav drama becoming like this... Nevertheless I love Shen Yue and i'll continue for her...
This could easily become drama of the year.. the potential is there... Chemistry between the leads are simply off the chart, beyond to be honest... their interactions are so so natural and enjoyable Shen Yue is LOVE.. man, its imposible not to fall in love with her.. The only negative point so far to me is, writter's pathetic attempts to force in a completely unnecessary love triangle out of nowhere.. looks so artificial, insincere and hollow to the context of the plot.... its a healing drama, let it be this way.. the leads already has a lot in their plate, lots of obstacles to overcome, even 34 episode may not be sufficient for it.. why forcing in something that is not imperative..? we're loving it for the way it is so far.. please dont ruin it with any supererogatory act... we beg of you...
So basically ML's character here is the typcial SML type... we dont know if FL can overturn things and save him in future but man what a tragic life our ML have had... his dream was crushed, his unrequited love for FL, watching her fall in love with someone else and the lifelong guilt because of her accident... how painful it might have been for him in all these year... Honestly, anyone can easily see that in his (present version) eyes... I'd not be surprised if he really did committed suicide....
“Perhaps that person might had loved her more than I did” such an honest acknowledgement from ML... Han Tae Hwa is definately one of the most powerful SML ever existed.. Though he was flawed and gray shaded in some areas but his love for Jung Suh is unmatched... Regardless of all the misery and cruelty of his life, He lived for Jung Suh, protected her and in the end died for her... Furthermore He tried to make sure she's doesn't worry a bit for him... fake "girlfriend," writing comforting letters, and the whole "moving to France" cover while drowning in the abyss himself.... He wanted to give Jung Suh the ultimate gift a person can offer, but didn't want her to acknowledge or grieve him... No greater love...
I just loved Ha Neul - Yoon Ah's Story... It was nothing grand but so meaningful.... Ha Neul's character was the funniest..i had a good laugh because of his lousiness but man, was it not the saddest at the same time...really felt heartbroken in his helplessness.. specially towards the end, when he said "when i leave this place tomorrow, I'd have nothing and nowhere to go, So this is where my life ends'' before committing suicide... So glad he found someone like Yoo Ah... Two lost soul found new hope within each other and became the reason to start a new life for each other....
When did the leads get together?Did they breakup?Happy ending?
They were always together.. but if you are asking about the term ''offically dating'' then it happened in ep 15 because its not entirely a romance drama but they were in love long before that and shared lots of 'moment'..even kiss... No break up... took some time off because of circumstances but got resolved in no time... Yes.. very happy...
I know both was played by JCW but really wished for the character Park Bong soo to have his own storyline.. Him being the naive and supportive junior to Chae young shin was a light relief from all the heavy emotional rollercoaster... but, the rejection of his honest and heartfelt confession to Chae young shin in ep 10 was really heartwrenching... literally SLS pain....
This type of piece of Sh*t that tries to normalise cheating and toxic femininity in the name of woman empowerment (such woman who choose more power over seeeing her dying mother for one last time) gets 8.2..?? masterpiece, this one..?? 🤮🤮🤮
An entire drama of ML loving, chasing, caring, making efforts for FL only to be treated as her last resort till the very end..? and she cant be more indifferent to him..?
Ok, She liked the 2ML at first and its completely understandable, then again she knew 2ML liked someone else but she'd be still crushing on him, ignoring ML's genuine feelings... for so long..? Again lets say she couldn't realise sooner (although i'd never understand how can someone not see such ovious).. what about when he confessed, her instant reaction was like, how could you..? i mean, really..? Then after a while she suddenly realise, oh i also like him too.. but didnt care to take the initiative first until he's gone... once again lets say the ongoing incidents and misunderstandings were to blame... Ok...forget the past, she loves him now.. so when he went abroad, its only right that she would wait for him knowing how long he waited for her, right... right..? Noooo... she goes on blind date... though it turns out to be ML... so much for true love, huh..... ok enough is enough, forget all that.. her beloved person is back again atleast now she will take a step towards him...right..? NO, its has to be ML again who takes initiative and propose to her.... how convinient....
I cant stop wondering, what if the 2ML liked her back at that time or it was someone else at the blind date... The ML was indeed her last resort....
