The comments and reviews on this drama are wild and a bit confusing? like ao far we've had a bunch of introduction episodes, no character development is suppose to be happening yet. the whole point is that Baili Dongjun has been treated like a spoiled rich kid his entire like to keep him pure and out of trouble. if you've watched TBOY you know that Baili Dongjun is spectacular once he is older. as far as people complaining about the CGI, it isnt new???? it's the same from TBOY. people complain about romance? again , we already know romance was this generations down fall. I mean look at Ye Dingzhi and Zhao Yuzhen. This story was already told, now we are just going into detail. we have already seen where our MCS end up in the end. Sometimes, you just gotta trust the process.
Small Rant over, I just had to get it off my chest. personally I feel like this drama as a youthful feel, it's not perfect. Baili Dongjun is just not a experienced and seasoned as Xiao Se. it makes it feel more silly and childish, additionally, this type of behavior is not something we normally see from a ML, It's usually the FLs acting a fool hahaha.
his wife, Ji Yeon found out at that password that had been using, and the password she thought was correct was Yoon Sins birthday (0305) but they were both wrong which is why when yoon jin tried that password, it failed. park tae jin's password was 0617, Ji yeon's birthday. maybe he really did love her?
I personally liked the ending. we all love our happy endings but sometimes, its painfully refreshing to see something unexpected. I know it's an opening ending and we could all cling to hope that he is in fact alive and bravely defending the Forest. I want to believe that as well and I could have convinced myself however the fact that his entire squad managed to get the time off to go to this dance performance and how just absolutely devastated they all look and the quote repeated at the end "my life belongs to the country but my heart belongs to you" It feels wrong to say he was just absent for the performance, it felt like more than that. of course, it could be misleading on purpose. either way I cried so
personally I'm a big fan of a nice natural romance where they don't fall in love in the first 2 seconds so I'm really enjoying this one. I really like the focus on the firefighting as well, unlike Date with the Future which just had me pulling out my hair with its illogical setup, I mean allowing a bystander to go save firefighter, WHAT?. Hoping this one doesn't get low ratings just because the romance is a slower burn. so far it is better imo than the two others of its kind this year.
I almsot thought This was gonna be a blood spitting free drama. Glad to know Chengyi hasn't forgotten he is the King of spitting blood lol. Poor Yunshen though
So he is suppose to be doing this really important job of protecting the Phoenix but they sealed half his cultivation, making him weak against the Demon Lord. Make sense right??? couldn't have thought of a better punishment, that didn't put his mission in jeopardy?
I think the princess lives outside the palace because the previous king died because when the king dies, his kids…
I'm pretty sure the Queen Mother is regent. He is king but is unable to rule because his mother makes the decision. it's a common plot line in korean historical dramas.
