Title Ping Pong Life Spoiler
As if Xu Tan's insecurities aren't enough, they added his father's sickness :"
they also added a girl that he knew for less than a year in that mix. -_- i am not against romance/potential love interest... its just that there was no development in their relationship at all. they just threw her in there. At least for lei lei there was development. Also, it felt so disrespectful of her to sit in and not leave when xu tan and his family were talking about private issues.

I watched the first episode more than a week ago because of some comparisons to Hikaru no Go (I love that series…
Personally, I am enjoying every episode (ep22). I think that most of the people who are disappointed or frustrated came with high or certain expectations. If you watch it without expecting much or comparing it with other drama's, I believe that you will enjoy it. This drama is also more of bromance/coming of age (as an athlete) than a sports/ping pong drama. At the end of each episode, it also teaches you about ping pong which is nice. Currently the drama is slowing down as it is focusing a lot more on the supporting characters' individual story line which is a pity. I find that i tend to skip through those parts since they have nothing to do with the main story line. I think the purpose of these side characters is to introduce the different styles of ping pong? From what I see right now, the main leads still lack the mindset(Yu KeNan) /physique (Xu Tan) to be good at ping pong. The coaches are coming up with weird ways to fix that. I think once they find that, the ping pong/sports aspect will naturally start to pick up again. Also, no matter what drama it is, at the halfway point, it starts to drag and people find issues/ get frustrated. I think you should probably wait until it finish airing/see the final reviews before starting this, especially if you have other dramas that have better reviews.

The acting of both the leads are very good. the chemistry is also there. camera work is great. production value 10/10. The ping pong scenes look very professional and believable. Actors also look like they are ping pong players. This is not the worst drama I have seen but not the best since the storyline is kinda basic. Comparing it with Hikaru no Go's storyline, it lacks. but compared with go go squid, skate into love, basketball fever... it is much better so far.
