Maybe the character is too one dimensional. Even when he becomes 2nd male lead his characters always have depth (even more so than the main lead), so maybe he is looking for a more challenging role. Or maybe the script is simply bad.

Hyun jo saw his friend die but it's from his own point of view, so he didn't know that his friend drank the yogurt. He only knows later in 2018 from the vision, because that vision is in his friend's point of view. And the vision can be from future, or past.

Nah man it's obviously hate cause bad cgi is only a small portion of the drama which so far only has 2 episodes. Sweet Home has waaaaaay worse cgi and plot we don't see "constructive criticism" by rating it low

From one poster that says mountains are the place between life and death, I think in 2020 ML is a ghost, or half ghost cause he is in coma. And because he is neither alive or dead, he is able to exist at the mountain. To warn people, or warn himself with flashbacks to his 2018 self.
