I love that Gong Myung gets more recognition thanks to Love Untangled but I think that movie makes people underestimate his acting ability like have you guys seen Be Melodramatic???
I AGREE 100%! just watched the show and i loved it so much but when the ending came i was like "what??" the ending…
Different conflict. It was mostly about the accident, which Eungyeol feels guilty of but glad Yichan survived despite everything. The actual conversation we have is just Eungyeol saying "it's my time to shine". It feels so empty because the original conflict was about Yichan feeling betrayed that Eungyeol didn't tell him about liking music and Eungyeol thinking his dad won't be able to accept his love for music. But they changed adult Yichan into a jinsung instruments CEO so they no longer have the original conflict.
It's such a shame. I really wanted Eungyeol to have an honest conversation with his dad about wanting to be in the band, especially since now he knows Yichan used to like music.
I feel like the ending could've been handled better. This type of fix-it ending works in Back to the Future because it has a super straighforward plot with no real emotional attachment to the OG timeline but with this drama, the changes in the alternate timeline are way too drastic that I can't help but wonder what happened with the OG timeline characters. Unlike Marty's miserable OG family, Eungyeol's OG family is happy. They have their problems but we care about them. Did they cease from existence without a proper conflict resolution? I don't know, it's not fair. Ending would've been miles better if they don't change things that much and yichan - eungyeol still gets to have the conversation, after their disagreement, or if we get small montage of the new timeline appearing in Eungyeol's memories. But as it is, Eungyeol basically stole someone else's life the moment he returns to 2023.
how is this drama? it doesn't seem like the type of drama I'd like. but i'm also open to exoploring
pace is kinda slow at times and some characters are unbearably annoying (but it doesn't matter cause -spoiler-) but the main character is interesting and main plot has a big potential to be very good. It really depends on whether you like Dexter/ HBO's Barry type of show where a serial killer is sort of the "hero" you're rooting for
it's an American movie with a Korean director. There's only 1 Korean actor and he's more American than Korean. it's literally a WB film. Like I can still sort of understand including Snowpiercer and Okja cause both movies have plenty Korean actors but putting Mickey 17 on mydramalist is like putting Wicked in mydramalist just because the director is asian.
