It's pretty engaging so far. The finance aspect is not as detailed like Tracer and Reborn Rich but the corruption case is good. I'm curious to see where they're going with this

I don't think we know his ultimate goal as for now but it's clear that he cares about the non-managerial workers. But my point is even if the company isn't corrupt it's not like the employees will suddenly have it easy cause in the end they work for a megacorporation, and big companies will never stop being greedy (and usually at the expense of the employees)

It's not bad tho it's only been 1 episode so who knows, but some people might find it boring if they don't like business drama. Maybe those people are the ones who reviewed early. I personally only give scores once I finished the drama

The first scene made me roll my eyes like idgaf about saving multimillionaire companies, why not destroy them instead. No matter how many corruptors you catch, top companies will always be dirty, one way or another

But so far it's better than Im Siwan's Tracer so I'll watch the next episode

American & British stuff has been great lately. I see many well written lgbtq+ characters in the genre I actually like so I don't have to watch corny wattpad stuff like Heartstopper. The ones I mentioned are netflix shows adapted from DC comics/ DC graphic novels

Okay I sorta get what you mean. Idk for me the only part I lamented being gone is the bullying because of homophobia part but I have ZERO interest in seeing deukpal-as-yiheon x sekyung romance. The alternate ending where OG yiheon stays would make the romance okay but I also want Deukpal stays cause I care about him way more than Yiheon. So the current drama adaptation is the most optimal outcome for me, putting aside the homophobic reason for the change. Plus I probably won't watch this drama if it has BL tag cause I don't like watching romance in general

It's not a big deal to me. I simply call CW cowards for not giving Jon Kent a boyfriend and move on like a normal person. Tho if all romance stories, especially straight ones are changed into friendship it would be a massive W to me as I don't really like watching romance lol. Yeah that's why until they learn to do better, it's better to not show romantization/ glorification of huge age gap romance at all, fantasy or not it's still predatory. Shows like Goblin or novels like the og work of this show shouldn't exist if they won't address the problematic stuff. That messy drama Hierarchy doesn't really explain why it's wrong but least they put the teacher in jail for sleeping with a minor. I don't mind that kind of portrayal. I don't think they'll put Deukpal in jail tho so they'll never address it like the blind date bit
